VERSION 1.0 — 10 AUGUST 2026
Terms of use.
This text applies to all ResonLab software. Each application adds its own, more specific terms about the risks that belong to it.
1. What this software is
Ohmnia, Scenika and Acustika are applications that run entirely on your computer. Nexika is a server you install on a machine of your own.
Your data stays with you. It is sent neither to the publisher nor to any third-party service. The only possible network access is the update check, off by default, and multi-workstation mode, which is an explicit choice of yours and never leaves your network.
2. None of this software makes you compliant
This is the most important point in this document. Using ResonLab software makes neither your accounts, nor your electrical installation, nor your sound system compliant.
The rates, thresholds, legal notices, circuit ratings and calculations offered are starting points to be checked. They change, they depend on your country and your trade, and they may be out of date by the time you use them.
Responsibility for your legal, tax, accounting and safety obligations remains entirely yours. When in doubt, ask a professional: an accountant, an electrician, an acoustician.
3. Your data and your backups
A disk failure, a theft, a fire or a slip of the hand can destroy your data. Ohmnia’s automatic backups do not replace your own arrangements: keep at least one copy off your computer, and check now and then that it can still be read.
The password of an encrypted backup is stored nowhere. If it is lost, the backup is permanently unreadable: nobody, the publisher included, can recover it.
4. No warranty
This software is provided as is, with no warranty of uninterrupted operation or freedom from error. Software can contain defects, including in calculations.
Check your documents before sending them, your figures before any filing, and your calculations before any patching. Do not rely blindly on a displayed total or on a colour map.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for damages arising from the use of this software: loss of data, business interruption, lost profit, tax reassessment, a dispute with a client, or damage to property or persons.
This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or intent, nor where the law imposes liability that cannot be excluded. Depending on your country, some of these exclusions may have no effect on you.
6. Licence
The code of this software is published under the MIT licence. You may read it, modify it and redistribute it. The licence, too, is provided without warranty.
7. Terms specific to each application
Each application adds terms covering what is specific to it, and shows them to you on first launch.
8. Acceptance
By using ResonLab software you acknowledge that you have read these terms and accepted that the compliance and safety of your activity are your responsibility alone.
If you do not accept these terms, do not use this software.
