UPDATED 10 AUGUST 2026
The roadmap.
What is done, what is under way, and what will not be done. A roadmap that announces only what already exists is useless; so is one that promises everything.
What is done
Shipped, covered by automated checks, and downloadable.
Business management, and multi-workstation
Invoices, quotes, time tracking, ledger, inventory, simplified accounting, bank statement import. And since 0.1.3, multi-workstation mode.
Inventory, rentals, power, DMX
The equipment inventory, rentals showing what did not come back, power split per circuit, and the DMX calculator tied to the real inventory.
Coverage, and advice
Freely drawn zones, rakes, a loudspeaker library, a coverage map, a section view, alignment delays — and placement advice that explains why.
The server, in one command
Accounts, rights, encryption, a certificate it builds itself. It serves Ohmnia and Scenika. Bringing it up takes one command.
French and English
All five websites, and the Scenika and Acustika applications in full. Ohmnia is under way, screen by screen.
Windows and Linux
An .exe installer, an AppImage and a .deb package for all three
applications, built automatically.
What is under way
Started, usable, and not finished. We would rather say so than let you think otherwise.
The English translation
Navigation, the home screen, the inventory, clients and printed documents are translated. The remaining screens are still French.
Mobile consultation
An inventory gets checked standing in a store room, phone in hand. It will be a page served by Nexika on the local network — the server now runs.
Loudspeaker data
Importing polar data as text works and derives the coverage angle per band. The CLF format is still the goal — see below why it is not read yet.
What will not be done
An honest roadmap also states what it refuses. Each of these was weighed, and each is refused for a reason, not for lack of time.
The cloud
Your data will not go to our servers, because we have none. Multi-workstation installs on your own machine.
Subscriptions
Software that stops working when you stop paying is software you do not own. The code is MIT licensed.
The CLF format, as long as it must be guessed
CLF is a binary format whose structure is not public. A reader that guessed would produce wrong directivity — hence wrong placements with the confidence of right ones. Text already imports.
Invoicing inside Scenika
A rental gets invoiced, but building a second invoicing module would mean maintaining VAT and numbering rules twice. Scenika prepares the lines, Ohmnia invoices.
Acustika on multi-workstation
It works on project files, not on shared company data. Two people do not edit one simulation at the same time.
“Like EASE”
No ray tracing, no reverberation, no predicted intelligibility. Those are decades of work by teams of acousticians. Promising them would mean shipping wrong maps with the confidence of right ones.
