What comes next
What is in progress, what is decided, what is being considered — and what has been set aside, with the reason.
No dates are announced, deliberately. Ohmnia is developed by one person, in their own time. An honest list of intentions is worth more than a schedule that will not be met. The order below is not a contractual commitment.

The groundwork is in place and the PDF documents are fully translated. The body of each screen is being converted bit by bit — long and unsurprising work, around 400 phrases.

AppImage and a
.debpackage, published and built automatically by GitHub with every release. The code contained no Windows-specific paths.Only tested in a virtual machine so far: if you hit a problem on your distribution, let us know.

Multi-computer version for companies
Several people working on the same data, with the database hosted on a company server or NAS, and Ohmnia becoming a client that connects to it.
This is substantial work: accounts and permissions, handling two people editing the same invoice, server-side migrations, securing the service. It will be delivered in stages, and the current local version will not change — both will coexist.
In the meantime, do not put the database on a network share: here is why, and what to do instead.

macOS version
Technically close to the work done for Linux. The obstacle is not the code: building for macOS requires a Mac, and shipping an application users can actually open requires an Apple certificate paid for every year.

Signing the Windows installer
This would remove the SmartScreen warning on first launch. A certificate costs several hundred francs a year: the question is whether the number of users justifies it.

The standard payment format in Switzerland. Set aside while the author is not VAT-registered and has no real use for it: better not to ship a regulatory feature that cannot be tested seriously in daily use.
